Beware of Spoilers!
Heroine (Kendall): 24yrs old – 2/5
Hero (Carter): 29yrs old – 4/5
HEA: yes with kid
Triggers: dead girlfriend, OW drama
Average score: 3.5/5
Best Line: H: “Never said I was normal.”
Worst Line: “The hotel was his fucking ground, probably with the stewardess of the week.” And
“To be honest, my idea of travelling is usually finding those few blocks of high-end stores and shopping all day. Then going to a fancy restaurant to show off what I bought.”
This was a good attempt at an epic romance. The heroine was a little too vain and money-hungry and the hero was a little too weird (which wasn’t a bad thing). The story lacked some depth but it is a better romance than some others by this romance author duo.
- I don’t think I liked the h much in the first introduction. She came across as quite vain
- Another epic manwhore which doesn’t seem to disturb the h despite his conquests repeatedly showing up
- Trying REALLY hard not to hate the heroine once she explained her life-altering decision
- The pregnancy conversation on the plane….Oh no…..
