Plot: 4/5

Grovel: none

HEA: almost perfect ending…would have loved to have an epilogue set in a few years time with babies!

Triggers: recovering addict

Average score: 4.5/5

Best Line: After all, what was the use of being a convicted killer if you couldn’t scare people once in a while? There weren’t any other perks, that was for damned sure.” – the context of this line was pretty funny

Worst Line: “How fucked was I? – life of an addict

Personal Review:

This was a very good romance of a recovering drug addict trying to redeem himself and the woman who stuck by his side.

Random Ramblings:

  • I was a bit confused as to why the author decided to have chapters dedicated to the characters younger selves when we got their story from flashbacks in the present time anyway
  • Looking forward to Zach’s story – I love silent broody heroes
  • Secret relationships never end well
  • The toddler scene caused me to breakdown in tears!

Overall Feeling:

Redemption

forgive
