4.5 Stars · Contemporary

Bossman by Vi Keeland

Beware of Spoilers!

Star Ratings:

Heroine (Reese): 28yrs old – 5/5

Hero (Chase): late twenties/early thirties? – 5/5

Plot: 4/5

Grovel: yes

Cheating: technically none

HEA: yes but I wish I could have read about the H’s reaction when she told him she was pregnant

Triggers: the h has a been out with OM on 4 dates when the attraction grows between herself and the H – she breaks up with OM before anything happens with the H

Average score: 4.5/5

Best Line:He’s like the Zuckerberg of vaginas now – because I am probably never going to come across a line like this again in a romance!

Worst Line: “I can’t believe we’re having this conversation. You know I’m seeing someone.”

Personal Review:

This was a great love story between two fearful people who fall in love and start to let go of past guilt and regrets.

Random Ramblings:

  • That cover model…

  • Loved the cringy moments
  • I appreciated the H’s honesty
  • I usually don’t like romances where the h or H have a dead loved one (fiancée, wife, husband etc) but I believed in Chase

Overall Feeling:

“It’s not your fault.”
