Hero (Cooper): 4/5

Plot: 3/5

Grovel: none

Cheating: none

Average score: 3/5 – just because of River

Best Lines: h: “I am strong and I’m getting stronger every day.”

Worst Lines: “A woman who looks like Kate is the last person I’d think would have suicidal feelings.” – anyone can experience these distressing thoughts regardless of how they look

Personal Review:

This was a slow burn love story between a suicidal young lady and a great, loving hero.

What I didn’t like was how suicidal she was even when she wasn’t consciously thinking of ending her life. Who spends their days at the beach, in the water, and DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO SWIM?! What do you think is going to happen?!

Random Ramblings:

  • Sadie was a sweetie…

  • I have no hard feelings towards River. I understand his over-protectiveness – River has my heart because I know, as an older sister, I would do anything for my siblings if it is in their best interest and it is only recently that I have loosened the reigns a little
  • I can’t forgive what Kate put Cooper through. Coming from personal experience, I have very little tolerance for suicide because of the impact it has on their loved ones

Overall Feeling:

To be honest I preferred reading about River  and Joss again and I don’t think I am interested in reading Stephen’s story
