Best Line: Slate to H Man the fuck up, son. – I couldn’t have said it better myself!

H’s thoughts: Sixteen-year-olds didn’t settle down.– true! Because they are just KIDS…they are not mature enough!!!!!

Worst Line: h’s thoughts I didn’t have any germs that I knew of– Everyone has germs!!!

Personal Review:

This was an ok love story between a 19 year old boxer, who was bound to a wheelchair after surviving a bullet to the back and a 16 year old thief who was entirely too immature and selfish (in my opinion). They didn’t get together until they were 22 and 19yrs but I didn’t see the h mature very much in the time that they were apart.

This was disappointing following the great first book.

Random Ramblings:

  • I didn’t like that the H was in love with his sister-in-law in the beginning
  • Something about Ash rubbed me up the wrong way when she was first introduced to Flint…I think it’s because she came across as a little ‘fake’ in the beginning and also quite selfish
  • The h deserved the talking to that H gave to her at the beginning – it showed HIS maturity and HER immaturity

  • I hate that the h did not like the h (H’s sister-in-law) from the previous book

Overall Feeling:
